Somatropin
Somatropin is a very powerful peptide based hormone; it is simply the synthetic version of the powerful naturally produced Human Growth Hormone or as it is commonly known, HGH. Often part of a therapeutic hormone replacement plan and used in performance enhancing circles as well, Somatropin is often categorized as an anabolic steroid; however, this is far from correct. Somatropin does carry with it many anabolic qualities but it is no more a steroid than Aspirin is a steroid. Even so, both anabolic steroids and Somatropin work very well with one another and of all the hormones used in performance enhancing Somatropin is by far the safest of all.
As it is highly effective and extremely well-tolerated by all who supplement with it Somatropin remains in constant high demand, however because of the high demand it is very expensive and often counterfeited on the black market, more so than any other hormonal compound. Nevertheless, many athletes live and die by its use but increasingly it has become just as important to many non-athletes in-terms of building and maintaining a quality physique in both men and women. However, unfortunately there is no hormone on earth that carries with it the misconceptions and misunderstandings as this powerful peptide. While some of these misconceptions hold with them a lot of truth in part many of them are highly misplaced and often nothing short of ridiculous.
We have taken some of the most common misconceptions off of some of the most popular message boards that deal in the discussion of anabolic steroids and Somatropin and left you with the truth. While you’ll find there will still be much more to learn hopefully here you’ll find a good starting point and erase some of the incorrect information you have in your mind.
Myth: The best way to supplement with Somatropin, the most effective manner is 5 days on, 2 days off so your body doesn’t get used to it.
Truth: Ask yourself this question; does your body only produce HGH 5 days a week; does your body take off two days a week and produce no growth hormone? Of
course not; a well-functioning body produces Human Growth Hormone seven days a week, 365 days a year. Some believe that by taking 2 days off every week
they prevent their body from becoming accustomed to a hormone that’s always present whether they supplement with it or not. The best method of Somatropin administration is every day, seven days a week.
Myth: The benefits obtained through Somatropin will only be maintainable with the use of anabolic androgenic steroids.
Truth: It is true, the benefits will be far greater when anabolic steroids are present but the effective changes made to a physique are just as easily
maintainable with or without anabolic androgenic steroid use. However, the difference between steroids and no steroids in-terms of total effects will be
night and day.
Myth: Somatropin will cause your jaw and forehead bones to grow.
Truth: The use of supplemental growth hormone can cause unwanted bone growth, this is true and it can manifest itself most prominently in the head, hands
and feet. However, with responsible use this will not occur; it will only occur in extreme situations where massive doses are used for far extended periods
of time.
